KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s credit card issuer AEON Credit Service (M) Bhd, a subsidiary of Japan’s AEON Credit Service Co Ltd., currently has 165,000 credit card holders and aiming to have double-digit growth in credit card issuance in the next financial year.
“We are targeting to convert one third of 900,000 JCard members to become credit card holders within 2 years”, Managing Director of AEON Credit Yasuhiro Kasai says.
Currently, AEON Credit only has slightly more than two per cent of the credit card market share in the country.
