ACE Programme Produces New Generation of Contractor Entrepreneurs in Sarawak

The ACE Programme in Sarawak celebrates the graduation of 11 successful participants, marking a milestone in nurturing knowledgeable and competitive contractor entrepreneurs for Malaysia’s construction industry. Officiated by Deputy Minister Ahmad Maslan, the ceremony underscores the programme’s effectiveness in driving innovation and fostering entrepreneurship, with plans for its continuation in June 2024.


16 April 2024 – A total of 11 participants have successfully completed the ACE – Accelerator Programme for Construction Entrepreneurs Programme, also known as the New Generation Contractor Entrepreneur Development Programme, at the Sarawak Regional Academy. This initiative, designed to cultivate knowledgeable, quality-driven, and competitive contractor entrepreneurs to lead Malaysia’s construction industry, aims to drive innovation and excellence in the sector.

The ceremony marking the graduation was officiated by the Honourable Deputy Minister of Works Malaysia, Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan, and witnessed by Yang Berhormat Ir. Hj Yusuf bin Hj Abd Wahab, Chairman of CIDB Malaysia, and Tuan Haji Razuki Ibrahim, Deputy Chief Executive of I CIDB Malaysia. Deputy Minister Ahmad Maslan highlighted the effectiveness of the ACE Programme in nurturing a new generation of contractor entrepreneurs and fostering a cohesive “Bangsa Usahawan” within Malaysia’s construction landscape. In alignment with the government’s commitment, the ACE Programme is set to recommence in June 2024, continuing its mission to empower and elevate aspiring entrepreneurs in the construction industry.
