Oct 10, 2013 (Thu): The global research and advisory firm Gartner expects the IT market in Malaysia will increase by six per cent this year if compared with 2012, to reach RM61.9 billion, Bernama reported. The IT market is including telecommunication services (fixed, mobile and data), devices (mobile phones, personal computers and printers), IT services, software and data centre systems (including servers, storage and network equipment).
Meanwhile, Gartner also forecasts that worldwide IT spending will reach US$3.8 trillion in 2014, a 3.6 per cent increase from 2013 during Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2013 held in Orlando recently.
