Aug 9, 2013 (Fri): Starting from now, Twitter’s iOS and Android users now can enrol in login verification and approve login requests directly from their mobile app. The login verification does not require users to provide phone number to use it. As long as with Internet connection and one of Twitter supported apps, users can enrol in login verification. Login verification via SMS has been available through supported mobile carriers across the world but the coverage is limited and not for everyone.
Once the users turn on login verification, a backup code will be generated. The users should store the backup code in a safe place because the code can be used to access their account on twitter.com even phone is lost.
On other hand, Twitter also has improved the search menu which will tell the users how they’re connected to other users and has added a new “View more photos” option that will lead users to a photo gallery of all the photos related to that search.
