March 21, 2014 (Fri): The latest data from the State Bank of Vietnam shows nearly 12 million bank cards were issued last year, increased 22 percent compared with 2012. As per end of 2013, the country had total 61.11 million debit cards, 2.43 million credit cards and 2.67 million prepaid cards.
