July 29, 2013 (Mon): HyppTV, an IPTV service provided by Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) via its UniFi, will be available for nationwide users via Streamyx and HyppTV Everywhere.
Starting from August this year, new and existing 4Mbps and 8Mbps Streamyx broadband customers can enjoy HyppTV service. HyppTV will be offered as part of its triple-play service of Voice, Internet and IPTV packaged at RM160 a month with 17 free channels and an option to subscribe to HyppTV’s Platinum Pack. For existing and new Streamyx 4Mbps customers, HyppTV is offered as an add-on for RM30 a month from the existing two-play service of Voice and Internet, or at the package price of RM140 a month.
For HyppTV Everywhere, it is the first ever multi-screen offering will enable UniFi and Streamyx (4Mbps & 8Mbps) customers to watch HyppTV anywhere and anytime on their various devices such as smart phones (iOS and Android), tablets (iOS and Android), PCs and laptops.
The new service offering was launched by YB Dato’ Sri Ahmad Shabery Cheek, Minister of Communications and Multimedia at TM’s headquarters here in Kuala Lumpur.
