SWIFT setting up its APAC centre in Bangsar
The global provider of secure financial messaging services community, SWIFT (the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) announced its expansion in Asia-Pacific by setting up a corporate service center in Bangsar, Malaysia by February next year, Business Times reported.
SWIFT center in Malaysia will be similar as its other centers which will provide services such as IT development, qualification testing, support, finance, human resources and operational functions. SWIFT said the quality and cost of doing business as well as IT talents supplies in the country have made them chose Malaysia setting up new center.
Currently, SWIFT is serving more than 10,000 banking organisations, securities institutions and corporate customers in 212 countries to exchange millions of standardized financial messages every day.
