Aug 15, 2013 (Thu): Pos Malaysia Bhd was reported that it has allocated RM50 million to develop an Integrated Parcel Centre (IPC) at the National Mail Centre in Shah Alam. The new development is to cater for the increase in demand of postal service due the robust technology and e-commerce growth, Pos Malaysia’s Group Chief Executive Officer Datuk Iskandar Mizal Mahmood said. Iskandar added that Malaysia’s e-commerce is expected to accelerate and exceed RM1.9bil in 2016 from RM842bil in 2011. The report by Bernama also said Pos Malaysia aims to complete the development of IPC by mid-2014.
