Philippine’s Sugar Regulatory Administration introduces e-payment
In line with the Public-Private Partnership Program (PPP), the Philippine’s Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA) will implement electronic payment (e-payment) system for the export and import of sugar and sugar-based products by Jan 3, 2013, for greater transparency between government and private sector as well as cutting transaction costs, said by the Philippine National Single Window (PNSW), SRA Administrator Ma. Regina Martin.
SRA will use the PNSW electronic system through the BancNET-ATM Payment Gateway for importers and exporters to pay SRA e-permit/e-clearance fees online. SRA is one of the first two government agencies implement e-payment under the PNSW system.
