Jan 20, 2014 (Mon): Ingenico, a global leader in payment solutions with over 160,000 merchants in Europe connecting to its platform, revealed that more than 300 million transactions were processed in Europe in December 2013. According to Ingenico, there was an increase of more than 50 percent in the volume of transactions processed through mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, which represented more than 10% of the volume of sales in last month.
