Online gaming spoils your life
Total of 444 Malaysians have borrowed about RM30 million from illegal moneylenders or shark loans for online betting activities in the past nine months, MCA Public Services and Complaints bureau reported. The bureau head Datuk Michael Chong commented that the problem is getting worse because only 480 people came to them for assistance on RM20 million debts last year.
Most defaulters were involved in online roulette and card games, Chong added. Chong urged the government to formulate a strategy to combat with shark loans and online gambling in the country.
