New tool to help online fashion retailers to boost sales

In a recent report of Reuters shared that the researchers from the London College of fashion, the University of Surrey and the company Bodymetrics have developed a new body scanning device which can give accurate measurement by getting user’s height and taking a single full-length picture of he or she with a webcam or smartphone. It uses the measurements combined with a person’s overall proportions to build a 3D image and overcome the problem of variable sizing, which can mean a shopper is a “medium” in one store but a “large” in another.

With this new technology, the shoppers are no longer nervous about ordering clothes online which do not fit them and definitely it will help the online fashion sellers to boost up their sales.
