Lazada eyeing to become no. 1 online shopping site in Philippines
Lazada Philippines (www.lazada.com.ph), the another online business ventured by Germany-based Rocket Internet GmbH in Philippines wants to become the top online shopping site in the Philippines by end of this year, according to Mattia Perroni, one of the five managing directors of Lazada Philippines.
Perroni said that Lazada Philippines was started in January with only three persons but now has increased the head count to 260. It also caters sales orders from the whole of Metro Manila and across the islands, he added.
