IDC: Malaysia’s ICT sector is growing at 7.6 per cent
IDC Asia-Pacific (IDC), the leading provider of data-driven research and analysis in Asia-Pacific region expected Malaysia’s ICT spending will grow 7.6 per cent or reach RM10 billion next year due to the rebound of telecommunication services including recent issuance of 2,600 MHz 4G licenses, reaping on returns from premium content delivery and cloud services.
However, a researcher commented that the country is lacking of skilled workers in the ICT sector which may affect the growth of the industry.
