GHL Systems Launches Internet Payment Business in Malaysia

April 15, 2014 (Tue): GHL Systems Berhad, the leading payment solution enabler in ASEAN today launched its Internet payment business named eGHL in Malaysia and the launch was officiated by Ng Wan Peng, Chief Operating Officer Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC).

“We are proud to be able to offer differentiated solutions for large, high volume online merchants as well as simpler and affordable solutions for smaller ones” said Raj Lorenz, Group CEO of GHL Systems Berhad. “Online payment is still relatively small in absolute terms but it is growing exponentially in all the countries in which we operate. We will be expanding eGHL to Thailand and Philippines, where we have significant subsidiaries and we intend to become a major online payment service provider in ASEAN” Raj further added.

Besides helping online merchants to accept payments through comprehensive payment option including but not limited to FPX, Visa and MasterCar for their e-commerce transactions, eGHL also offers 7X24 local support and software customization capability differentiates it from other providers. To ensure online stores can be connected to eGHL easily, eGHL has formed strategic partnership with some key shopping cart providers such as EasyStore.my, MyBizCart, Sitegiant, Square.my and webShaper.

GHL, as an end-to-end provider of payment solutions is present not only in the physical high street but also in the virtual, online e-commerce space. eGHL augment’s the group’s TPA business (Transaction Payment Acquisition) which is a priority growth business for GHL group,” Raj added.
