German toy manufacturer enters SEA market, for retail and e-commerce
One of the largest toy manufacturers from German, Simba Toy company is penetrating into Southeast Asia by setting up a manufacturing facility in India to serve as an export hub for Southeast Asia, West Asia and North Africa, BERNAMA new agency reports.
Xinhua news agency reports that the company, after having faced a slowdown in its home country, is targeting growth from emerging economies.
The company has also set up e-commerce operations along with several partners to form a sustainable revenue generation platform in future.
Simba Toys company founded in 1982 and has subsidiaries in over 22 countries worldwide. The company has the largest market share in its home country flowed by France and Russia.
