Ensogo leading in Thailand’s local deals site market
Ensogo, a LivingSocial company is the leading daily-deals websites in Thailand which estimated has 91 per cent market share and has registered 1.6 million members. Daily-deals is a type of e-commerce in which a website offers a single product for sales for 24-36 hours.
The chief executive and co-founder of Ensogo, Tom Srivorakul forecasted the online daily-deals market grows 110-120 per cent this year while the local business-to-consumer e-commerce market only expected to grow by 16-17 per cent to THB40 billion (or USD1.3 billion) this year.
Tom said the company expects to have 2 million registered members by end of this year even the global trend shows the number of deal websites is declining.
