E-Commerce in Indonesia Will Grow 40% in 2014
April 18, 2014 (Fri): The latest survey conducted by Visa Worldwide Indonesia shows that Indonesian online shoppers spent US$500 per year on average on buying airline tickets and accommodation and about US$194 per year on fashion products and cosmetics in 2013, Jakarta Post reported.
The survey also revealed that nine out of 10 online shoppers in Indonesia used personal computers and laptops when they browsed and shopped online. Besides, Visa projected that online shopping there will grow about 40 percent in 2014 and 53 percent in 2015 compared only 23 percent last year.
