Credit Card, common payment method for Malaysian

KUALA LUMPUR: The recent Nielsen survey, Global Survey of Investment Attitudes revealed that 39 per cent of Malaysian online consumers use credit card as their common payment method for daily activities. Besides, the study also shows 92 per cent of Malaysian consumer uses cash while debit card users only 35 per cent.

The survey also reported that close to half of Malaysian credit card users repay all their credit card spending in full each month and only 18 per of Malaysian said they only repay the minimum payment required.
