Celcom Aims to Increase Reload Transaction by 6% Through Collaboration with BSN

Aug 4, 2013 (Sun): Celcom Axiata Bhd (Celcom) has formed a strategic partnership with Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN), allowing the telco to leverage BSN’s 4,209 selected registered banking agents and premises nationwide to be its prepaid reload points.

Under the agreement, Celcom users can purchase the reloads for Celcom First, Xpax, U.O.X, S.O.X, Celcom Frenz and Instanet broadband through BSN’s authorised banking agents mainly in remote areas. Celcom expects the partnership bring a six per cent increase daily in reload transaction volume or top up of prepaid cards. Currently, Celcom has about 600,000 reload transactions a day with an average value of RM13,000.
