September 1, 2014 (Mon): To celebrate 60-year anniversary on September 28, Bank Rakyat will issue only 10,000 special edition gold credit card-i which offers free family takaful benefits, inclusive of RM1,000 expense for “Khairat Kematian”, annual fee waived and accepted for zakat contriubution.
The bank is targeting to increase its card base by 10 percent by the end of the year, said its president and managing director Datuk Mustafha Abd Razak after the launch of the special edition credit card-i. The nation’s second-largest syariah-compliant cooperative bank has issued over 300,000 credit card-i since its launch in 2008.
