Nov 13, 2013 (Wed): Australia Post is introducing Video Stamp, a new way for its customers to deliver a personal message that recipients can view on their mobile phone. Video Stamp is a personal QR code of the senders that lets them to attach a video to any domestic Express Post or Express Courier International package purchased from participating Australia Post retail.
The recipients can watch videos by scanning the Video Stamp using any QR code reader or the Video Stamp app or enter the 8-digit video code in Australia Post’s website. The senders can record their message up to 15 seconds within 12 hours of posting their item and the videos are viewable for 90 days once recorded. The recipients are allowed to download the video to keeping them forever.
