Yahoo eyeing acquisition over Tumblr

Tues, May 21, 2013: Yahoo Inc. has agreed to pay US$1.1 billion (RM3.32 billion) for Tumblr, the Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday. Tumblr is a microblogging platform and social networking website allows users to post multimedia and other content to a short-form blog. As of May 20, 2013, Tumblr hosts over 108.6 million blogs with 50.9 billion posts as reported in www.tumblr.com.
