Payment processing company WorldPay has entered a partnership with Discover Financial Services to enable WorldPay’s merchants becoming the first US businesses to accept PayPal In-Store Checkout at their brick-and-mortar shops.
With PayPal In-Store Checkout, the merchants can accept face-to-face payment transactions from over 50 million active PayPal users. The customers just simply swipe their PayPal mag-striped card at merchants’ point of sale to make payment.
WorldPay expected this innovative new product can help them to increase customers’ engagement and loyalty which will hopefully translate into incremental sales for their merchants.
