Visa’s recent survey conducted via telephone interviews with 1,007 correspondents has revealed that 73 per cent of consumers still haven’t finished shopping for Christmas gifts and these last-minute shoppers are expected to spend an average of US$304 (RM930.32) for gifts. The survey also shows 16 per cent of them have yet to purchase a single gift and only plan to do all of their shopping at the last-minute.
