As per Vietnam’s Ministry of Finance plan in developing the information technology sector in the country, the Vietnam’s government will make all 33 Customs departments go online over the next three years, including setting up a Customs-information system, expanding import-export tax collection through e-banking nationwide.
Currently, the ministry allows enterprises to do Customs declaration via e-portal and more than 55,000 enterprises used the online procedures between January and June of 2012.
