Vietnam Has the Highest Number of Web Server Attacks

Aug 14, 2013 (Wed): According to Nguyen Anh Tuan, a representative from Vietnam Information Security Association, Vietnam has the highest number of website server (394) attacks in the world, followed by Russia (34) and India (19), BizHub.vn reported. Most of the cyber-attacks this year had focused on bank cards, electronic commerce and online payments and transnational money laundering through technique of phishing and malware, Tuan added.

Tuan said malware also the key risk on mobile phones such as cyber criminals access mobile phone users’ credit card information, Facebook passwords and personal information. The potential risks on mobile phones are advertising click fraud and in-app billing fraud.
