MALAYSIA: According to United Overseas Bank’s (UOB) Managing director and country head of Personal Financial Services, Kevin Lam, the bank plans to introduce a new credit card namely Lady’s Solitaire which is targeted at women earning salaries of more than RM10,000 a month, the Business Times reported. Kevin said that UOB Malaysia expected a double-digit growth in their business with more product launches during the prizes giving ceremony for “UOB Drive Away with a Porsche Cayenne” campaign.
In addition, UOB Malaysia announced that, via its statement, the bank posted a record increase of 20 per cent in its cards billings and issued more than 28,000 new cards during the three-month campaign. Currently, UOB Malaysia has 750,000 credit and debit cards in circulation.
