Thai Excise Department Aims 100% of Entrepreneurs to Pay Taxes Online

Oct 3, 2013 (Thu): According to Chumpol Rimsakom from Thailand’s Excise Department, 70% of large businesses especially in the country especially automobiles companies are paying their taxes online and the department has collected THB 432 billion (RM44.1 billion) in excise tax as of the end of September, Thai News reported. The report also said the department is building a complete online excise tax payment system which they believe can switch all entrepreneurs to online tax payment method in future.
