MALAYSIA: According to report by InsideRetail.Asia, Tesco will open online stores in Thailand in April as well as in China around June this year. Philip Clarke, CEO of Tesco said the company will invest about RM2.3 billion (US$750 million) for digital services expansion as customers now intend to buy goods online. Currently consumers from the UK, Ireland, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Korea and Malaysia can buy online from Tesco.
