Sun, May 12, 2013: According to the Constant Contact-sponsored survey which was administered in March of 2013 to 1,305 small business owners, 66 per cent of them found currently using a mobile device, including smart phones and tablets, or a solution, like mobile-optimized websites and text message marketing for their business.
The survey reveals more than half (73%) of the respondents conduct social media marketing and 71 per cent conduct email marketing. Other results related to email and social media marketing are:
- 44 per cent advertise through social platforms.
- 34 per cent have a mobile-optimized website.
- 18 per cent run a mobile tablet-based payment point-of-sale.
- 18 per cent use mobile apps to manage operations, like accounting.
