Global water and waste management leader SUEZ expands its presence in Vietnam with its first industrial park project
VIETNAM, 2 APRIL 2025 – SUEZ, a global leader in environmental solutions, has partnered with Sonadezi, a state-owned developer managing 11 large-scale industrial parks in Vietnam, to provide integrated water and waste management solutions at Chau Duc Industrial Park, the largest industrial hub in South Vietnam. This marks SUEZ’s first industrial park project in Vietnam and its 22nd in Asia, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the region’s sustainable industrial growth.
A Key Step in Vietnam’s Industrial Transformation
Vietnam has developed over 400 industrial parks since 1963, and the government is pushing for higher environmental standards, aiming to convert 40–50% of these parks into eco-industrial parks by 2030. The partnership between SUEZ and Sonadezi will help meet these goals by improving wastewater quality, stabilizing effluents, and enhancing pipeline networks through advanced technologies.
Enhancing Infrastructure at Chau Duc Industrial Park
Located just an hour from Ho Chi Minh City, Chau Duc Industrial Park is a key investment hub for semiconductors, mechanics, and automotive accessories. The first phase of the joint venture will focus on:
- Upgrading and managing wastewater treatment facilities to serve over 100 industrial clients.
- Exploring advanced water and waste solutions to meet Vietnam’s rising environmental standards.
