Stripe Finally Launched in UK

Aug 16, 2013 (Fri): Stripe, via its blog has announced that now its online payments service is available for merchants in UK. The service offered to UK users is same as the service offered to users in US and Canada with instant activation and supporting all major card types including American Express.

In addition, Stripe UK has been developed with multi-currency support which allows UK businesses to charge customers in US dollars, British pounds, and Euro and Stripe will handle all the conversions for them and deposit daily into their bank account. Stripe UK will be charged at 2.4% and 20p per transaction + VAT.
