Sophos has integrated its Endpoint protection directly into all Taegis XDR and MDR subscriptions, delivering unified prevention, detection, and response while lowering costs. The move strengthens defenses against ransomware and advanced cyberattacks following its acquisition of Secureworks in February 2025.
MALAYSIA, 5 SEPTEMBER 2025 – Sophos, a global leader in cybersecurity, has announced the native integration of Sophos Endpoint into all Taegis Extended Detection and Response (XDR) and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) subscriptions. The update, available immediately for new and existing customers, provides seamless protection, detection, and response capabilities within a single platform.
This milestone follows Sophos’ acquisition of Secureworks earlier this year and marks a strategic step in combining expertise to deliver stronger cybersecurity outcomes. By embedding endpoint protection, Sophos enables organizations to lower licensing costs, simplify management, and accelerate mitigation against threats such as ransomware and hands-on-keyboard attacks.
“Integrating Sophos Endpoint with Taegis delivers a best-in-class unified protection, detection, investigation, and response platform – while also reducing customer costs,” said Raja Patel, Chief Product Officer at Sophos. “Our prevention-first capabilities, including CryptoGuard and Adaptive Attack Protection, stop attacks before they escalate, which is a game changer for enterprises managing thousands of devices.”
The company highlighted key benefits for customers:
- Cost savings with endpoint protection automatically included in all Taegis XDR and MDR subscriptions
- Flexibility to continue using third-party endpoint solutions with Taegis’ open platform
- Industry-leading ransomware defenses recognized by Gartner and other industry analysts
- Simplified deployment and management through direct integration in the Taegis console
Chris Bell, Senior Vice President of Global Channel, Alliances and Corporate Development at Sophos, emphasized the broader impact: “By including Sophos Endpoint in Taegis, organizations gain stronger protection, reduced costs and simplified operations. For partners, it creates new opportunities to help customers consolidate tools, drive renewals and expand enterprise relationships.”
With over 300,000 organizations worldwide already relying on Sophos Endpoint, the integration solidifies the company’s position as a leader in prevention-first cybersecurity, further enhancing the value delivered through Taegis’ open detection and response ecosystem.
