MALAYSIA, 18 April 2025 – Sophos, a global leader in next-generation cybersecurity solutions, has appointed Malis Selamat as the new managing director for ASEAN, Greater China, and Korea. This strategic move aims to accelerate the company’s growth across key Asian markets and strengthen its partner-driven approach in tackling the region’s increasingly complex cyber threat landscape.
With a career spanning more than 25 years, Selamat brings deep expertise in enterprise technology, sales leadership, and channel development. She is tasked with expanding Sophos’ regional market presence, enhancing enterprise adoption, and leading corporate sales initiatives to deliver top-tier cybersecurity solutions.
Before joining Sophos, Selamat held several senior positions at leading tech firms, most recently serving as head of corporate sales for Southeast Asia and country manager for the Philippines and Vietnam at Google. Her resume also includes leadership roles at VMware, McAfee, Citrix, and Qlik, where she successfully scaled enterprise and mid-market strategies while building strong partner ecosystems.
