Terry KS An Internet Safety Workshop co-organized by New Straits Times and EC-Council Academy will be held on Oct 20 and 21 to educate the public on Internet security, in safeguarding them from the cyber threats such as identity theft, information manipulation, financial loss and virus attacks.
EC-Council Academy’s Managing Director Wilson Wong said that awareness plays a huge role in overcoming scams and cyber crimes and knowledge is prevention. Wong shared crimes usually happen when the victims are not using strong password, visited suspicious sites with malware, fallen to phishing or scam trap.
