SAP has introduced groundbreaking AI innovations, including collaborative AI agents and the SAP Knowledge Graph, which together enhance data-driven decision-making and streamline complex workflows. The company’s efforts to empower developers and upskill 2 million individuals underscore its commitment to shaping the future of AI in business.

9 October 2024 – SAP SE has revealed new AI-driven advancements aimed at reshaping global business operations, as announced during the annual SAP TechEd conference. At the heart of these innovations is Joule, SAP’s generative AI copilot, which now plays a central role in enhancing business processes by executing 80% of SAP’s most-used tasks. Alongside Joule, SAP introduced collaborative AI agents designed to tackle complex, cross-functional tasks, offering a new level of automation and efficiency for enterprises.

The introduction of SAP Knowledge Graph promises to further revolutionize business operations by linking SAP data with business contexts, helping developers make better data-driven decisions. Slated for release in early 2025, this solution simplifies data modeling and enriches decision-making by mapping relationships between business entities like invoices and customers. Additionally, SAP is focusing on empowering developers with new tools to foster AI innovation, including enhanced capabilities in SAP Build, enabling developers to expedite AI-driven development processes.

Muhammad Alam, SAP SE Executive Board Member, noted, “These innovations reflect SAP’s commitment to driving tangible business results by integrating AI, data, and advanced development solutions to foster growth.”

In addition to these innovations, SAP continues its mission to upskill professionals worldwide, having already reached its goal of training 2 million individuals ahead of the 2025 target, reducing the global digital skills gap through its comprehensive AI-related learning programs.
