MALAYSIA, 19 AUGUST 2025 – Ricoh Asia Pacific has announced the launch of AI Learning Week 2025, a region-wide initiative aimed at equipping employees with practical AI skills, accelerating the adoption of Microsoft Copilot, and strengthening Ricoh’s leadership in applied artificial intelligence.
Running from 18 to 22 August 2025 and co-sponsored by Microsoft and Talogy, the programme will bring together over 1,000 employees across Asia Pacific for hands-on training, leadership panels, and solution showcases. The initiative highlights Ricoh’s belief that building AI fluency among its workforce is key to delivering lasting customer value and reinforcing strategic technology partnerships.
“AI Learning Week isn’t just about upskilling—it’s about readiness,” said Kei Uesugi, Regional Director of Ricoh Asia Pacific. “By investing in our people and working alongside Microsoft, we are building the internal strength required to lead AI transformation across the region.”
A Strategic Framework for Scaled AI Adoption
Ricoh Asia Pacific’s AI strategy follows a three-tier innovation framework designed to meet varying customer maturity levels:
- Pre-configured solutions – including AI-enabled multifunction devices, intelligent document processing, and workflow automation.
- Enablement and advisory services – to help organisations adopt AI responsibly and effectively.
- Advanced applications – using AI agents, large language models, and industry-specific solutions.
This structure allows Ricoh to deliver scalable innovation while enabling local adaptation and capability building.
