Oct 28, 2013 (Mon): According to Masaya Ueno, CEO of Rakuten Malaysia, Government’s implementation of the second phase of the High-Speed Broadband (HSBB) project and the allocation of RM120 million for an integrated package to increase innovation and productivity of SMEs under the Budget 2014 tabled last week will make Malaysia a vibrant and profitable market for eCommerce, Bernama reports.
He said Rakuten also committed themselves to supporting SMEs and helping them build their ecommerce businesses in the country.
