Fri, Jun 28, 2013: Rakuten Bank Ltd. yesterday launched its international remittance service for retail customers and self-employed customers which can be carried out completely online. The service allows customers to send money to designated bank accounts in 203 countries and regions in 68 currencies, 24 hours a day with charges starting from 750 Yen (RM24.24). Customers just need to have a Rakuten Bank account and apply for it. Once the application approved within a minimum of two business days from application date, customers can start to use the service for global remittance.
