Oct 3, 2013 (Thu): Viableware has announced that PayPal payments will be accepted on its RAIL payment platform, a mobile payment device that enables full-service restaurants to securely accept various forms of payment at the table.
With RAIL devices, the restaurants now able to offer their guests using PayPal as their payment method in addition to cash, credit or debit card. RAIL also allows guests to securely self-swipe credit or debit cards, auto-calculate the tip, split the bill multiple ways, pay-by-item, and direct-email receipts. It also hosts a number of other functional apps that can be used by full service restaurants to provide better service or improve the customer experience.
