Pendo Launches Australia Data Center to Support Regional Growth and Data Compliance

Pendo has opened a new data center in Australia, enhancing data privacy, residency, and compliance for its Asia-Pacific customers, particularly in regulated sectors. The move strengthens Pendo’s regional presence and supports its global AI-driven product strategy.

AUSTRALIA, 30 JULY 2025 – Pendo, the world’s first software experience management platform, has expanded its global infrastructure with the launch of a new data center in Australia. This strategic move supports growing demand for local data residency and strengthens compliance with regional privacy regulations and industry-specific mandates.

The new onshore data facility will serve Pendo’s more than 120 customers across the Asia-Pacific region, many of whom operate in heavily regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, and government. By offering local data storage, Pendo enables these organizations to meet stringent security and compliance requirements more effectively.

“We take our customer data responsibilities seriously, so ensuring we can host the data in Australia is critical,” said Aydin Mustafa, general manager for product development at HUB24, a leading wealth management platform. “We’re delighted to be partnering with Pendo, which enables us to deeply understand our customers and how they are using our solutions.”

Pendo’s global infrastructure now includes six data centers, with existing sites in the United States, European Union, and Japan. The company maintains compliance with major international standards, including SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, and TX-RAMP—making it a trusted partner for organizations prioritizing data privacy and security.

Pendo first established its presence in the region by opening a Sydney office in 2020. Since then, its Asia-Pacific team has grown by 40 percent over the past year, reflecting a surge in demand for localized solutions and product-led growth strategies.

The company is also deepening its investment in artificial intelligence. Its recent acquisition of no-code predictive analytics platform Forwrd.ai, along with a suite of new AI-enhanced features, enables customers to track the performance of AI agents, streamline onboarding, reduce support costs, increase upsell opportunities, and drive productivity.

“Having a customer-first mindset means removing barriers for customers, like data storage compliance, so they can focus on creating software that users love,” said Benjamin Weldon, APAC Area Vice President at Pendo. “I believe this region will be a global hub for digital innovation, where product-led strategies drive growth and meaningful customer engagement.”
