Feb 10, 2014 (Mon): Paytm, an Indian based company offers online recharges and payments services has introduced the first mobile shopping app that allows users to bargain for a deal using text messenger before they buy. The introduction was done by its founder and CEO, Vijay Shekhar Sharma with the presence of Google India Head, Rajan Anandan in an event.
The app will be available for download in Apple App Store and Google Play Store by the end of February.
“We have thought of mobile shopping from bottom up, without any previous assumptions of consumer behavior. Bargain is ingrained in nearly every Indian and is part of our everyday shopping. We are making something that will appeal to every Indian user in a natural way” said Vijay.
