PayPal’s former CTO appointed to Yahoo! board od directors

Max Levchin, co-founder and former CTO of PayPal has been appointed by Yahoo! Inc. (Yahoo!) as its board of directors but David Keeny and Brad Smith have decided to step down from the board, Yahoo! said in a press release.

CEO of Yahoo!, Marissa Mayer said the joining of Levchin can help the transformation of Yahoo! with his strong product and technology expertise. Levchin now also a director of Evernote and also founder to HVF, is focused on solving big problems and improving lives by extracting insights from the vast quantities of data around us. He does serve as chairman of the boards at Kaggle and Yelp and is a director at Evernote.
