July 24, 2014 (Thu): PayPal yesterday announced that Dutch now can use PayPal payments to pay for purchases at 1,5000 locations including cafes, cinemas, restaurants and parking meters across the country. The users just need to have PayPal smartphone application linked to a PayPal account to pay physical retailers easily via their mobile devices.
The app also allows users to see participating local businesses nearby, swipe to check-in to the one they want and pay directly using PayPal.
