Terry KS UK: The global payment company PayPal has introduced Chip & Pin version of PayPal Here for cash-based businesses in countries that use Chip and PIN debit and credit cards to make payments. UK is the first market selected by PayPal to launch this new version of PayPal Here. It will be available in other markets after the UK launch.
There is no contract or monthly rental fees for using PayPal Here. The businesses just need to purchase the card reader with PIN pad and pay a small fee for each transaction. PayPal will announce the actual pricing on the launch.
The users are required to pair the device with their Android phone or iPhone to accept secure payments anytime, anywhere they trade. This latest version is similar as the version launched in US, allowing the users to send invoices and receipts wherever they do business, as well as taking card and PayPal payments.
