Paydibs Sdn Bhd has launched two new solutions, Nexus and a Mini POS feature, to help Malaysian MSMEs adopt digital commerce and payments more easily. The initiatives aim to remove cost and complexity barriers, enabling merchants to operate seamlessly across online and in-store channels.
MALAYSIA, 8 JANUARY 2026 – Paydibs Sdn Bhd, a merchant-first payment gateway in Malaysia, has announced the launch of two new innovation-driven solutions aimed at accelerating digital adoption among micro, small and medium enterprises. The launch reinforces the company’s mission of “Payment Inclusion. Beyond Transactions.” by addressing long-standing barriers faced by smaller businesses in accessing affordable and easy-to-use digital tools.
The two solutions include Nexus, an all-in-one e-commerce suite designed to simplify online business adoption, and a new Mini POS feature embedded within the Paydibs Pay app that digitises in-store operations. Together, they enable merchants to manage sales, operations and payments seamlessly across multiple channels.
MSMEs make up nearly 97 per cent of registered businesses in Malaysia, totalling more than 1.1 million enterprises and forming a critical pillar of the national economy. Despite their scale, many continue to face challenges in digitalisation, particularly in underserved segments where access to reliable and cost-effective payment and commerce solutions remains limited.
According to Paydibs Chief Executive Officer Tee Kean Kang, true inclusion means equipping businesses of all sizes, from small hawkers to expanding retail chains, with simple and affordable digital tools that remove barriers to growth. By combining Nexus with the new Mini POS feature, the company aims to empower MSMEs to manage operations and accept payments confidently across both online and physical touchpoints.
Nexus has been designed as an inclusive e-commerce solution that lowers the technical and operational hurdles of going online. Merchants only need to provide basic information such as product details, pricing and business name, while Paydibs manages storefront setup and secure payment integration. Dedicated onboarding support ensures merchants receive personalised guidance throughout the process, allowing them to focus on growing their business while Paydibs handles the underlying digital infrastructure.
On the in-store front, the Mini POS feature within the Paydibs Pay app turns compatible Android smart terminals into all-in-one business hubs. The solution allows MSMEs to manage products, tables and payments from a single device, eliminating the need for costly standalone POS systems. By integrating checkout and administrative functions, the Mini POS helps reduce manual errors, improve service speed and provide real-time insights into sales performance and table utilisation.
Transaction data is automatically consolidated into centralised dashboards, enabling merchants to access analytics that support reconciliation, inventory planning and operational decision-making. The Mini POS is available to food and beverage as well as retail merchants at an entry price of RM360 for compatible devices, with an annual maintenance fee of RM120, offering a cost-effective pathway to digital operations.
With the introduction of Nexus and Mini POS, Paydibs continues to position itself as an enabler of payment inclusion, leveraging technology to help Malaysian merchants of all sizes participate more fully in the digital economy.
