MALAYSIA 25 February 2025 – Paris Baguette, the internationally acclaimed bakery brand under SPC Group, has officially inaugurated its new regional manufacturing hub in Johor, Malaysia. The milestone event, attended by Johor’s Chief Minister Onn Hafiz Ghazi and SPC Group Chairman Hur Young In, marks a strategic expansion move to enhance global production and supply chain efficiency.
The Johor facility is designed to support Paris Baguette’s rapid growth, ensuring seamless distribution to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and beyond. Equipped with seven advanced production lines, the hub is capable of producing up to 100 million bakery products annually, reinforcing SPC Group’s commitment to high-quality, large-scale food production. “Food is more than just sustenance—it connects people, honours heritage, and creates meaningful experiences.
Through the Johor Production Centre, we aim to serve 2 billion consumers in the Halal market, while fostering cultural connections and job opportunities,” said Hur Young In, Chairman of SPC Group, during the launch ceremony. A key highlight of the new facility is its Halal certification, meeting Malaysia’s globally recognised food safety and quality standards. This certification ensures Paris Baguette’s products adhere to strict hygiene, sourcing, and production protocols, strengthening consumer trust across international markets.
