Terry KS Japan’s number one IT services company NTT DATA Corporation announced that its subsidiary, NTT DATA Myanmar Co., Ltd. has started its operation in Yangon after obtained official permission from the government of Myanmar. NTT DATA aims to develop and employ 500 employees in collaboration with the University of Computer Studies over the next 5 years.
NTT DATA selected Myanmar as its offshore developments center for Japan due to lower cost, abundant talented human resources and the linguistic similarity between Burmese and Japanese.
