10 January 2024 – Singapore-based NCS has announced an extended collaboration with Microsoft in the Asia Pacific region, aiming to facilitate the acceleration of AI and Cloud solutions for clients. The partnership involves the creation of a dedicated Microsoft growth engine by NCS, covering all six Microsoft solution areas, with a focus on innovative solutions and new intellectual property deployed on Microsoft technology and available on the Microsoft marketplace.
The collaboration, grounded in a shared vision of technology and innovation harnessing, includes investments in IP creation, unified Go-to-Market strategies, and the rapid enhancement of capabilities. NCS is set to invest an initial SGD 1.5 million to develop next-gen solutions and IP. The collaboration extends beyond technology to provide clients with comprehensive support, leveraging NCS’ expertise in end-to-end technology services and Microsoft’s certified professionals.
Ng Kuo Pin, CEO of NCS, expressed enthusiasm about taking the long-standing partnership with Microsoft to the next level, emphasizing NCS’ commitment to innovation and positive impact in the Asia Pacific region. As part of the collaboration, NCS is establishing a dedicated growth engine for Microsoft solutions, led by Sharath Burla and John Kelly. This engine will cover Microsoft’s key solution areas, including Infrastructure, Data & AI, Digital & App Innovation, Modern Work, Security, and Business Applications. NCS clients across the Asia Pacific can now benefit from an enhanced suite of Microsoft technologies integrated with NCS’ end-to-end solutions, expediting Cloud Migration, Digital Transformation, and maximizing the advantages of AI, Hybrid Cloud, and Security.
The collaboration extends to NCS’ digital services arm, NEXT, playing a pivotal role in co-creating AI-enabled innovations with clients and deploying them on Microsoft technology. The expanded offerings will be showcased at Tesseract, NCS’ Innovation Centre in Singapore, and Microsoft Innovation Centres in the region.
NCS will make Go-to-Market investments to provide pre-built and validated Microsoft solutions, accelerating clients’ digital transformation journey. The focus is on leveraging Generative AI, Cloud, Security, and Copilot-powered productivity technologies to enhance operational performance, customer experience, and overall business growth. Additionally, NCS will invest in GitHub Copilot advocates, utilizing AI to strengthen effectiveness and quality in software development projects.
